Primary care counselling

Primary care psychologists provide psychological assessment and treatment to adults who are suffering from common mental health problems.

The services are attached to local GP practices and health centres in the local area. Primary care psychologists can help people with a wide range of difficulties.  Below are some of the common reasons for adults to be referred to the service:
